Something Unique About Me

I have tools to make pretty much anything on my desk at all times. I mean, there are quite a few exceptions, but I CAN do all of my hobbies without leaving my room.

Selina’s Questions

1. If you could turn back time, what would you change?

Nope nope NOPE—hehe when you ask me a time travel question you gon’ get a lecture on temporal mechanics

IF YOU WENT BACK IN TIME WITH THE INTENT OF CHANGING SOMETHING

If you succeeded in changing the thing, then it would affect the future, RIGHT?

And if the future is affected, then in YOUR timeline, the thing you erased would not exist, RIGHT??

So you would not be able to change anything, because it would never have EXISTED FOR YOU TO CHANGE.

I mean, that would be a paradox! And, while that’s a very cool word, we do not want a paradox.

On a more serious note, I believe that everything that happens happens for a reason. It may not be evident, and we might never know why that thing happened. But I do believe that there are no accidents. So even if I had the power, and it didn’t collapse time-space, I wouldn’t want to change a thing.

2. Where’s your go-to happy place?

My bedroom. It’s also my studio, and, as I mentioned, it has everything I need in order to create.

3. Are you an introvert, extrovert, or ambivert?

Ambivert.

4. What three things do you look for in a good friend?

A sense of humor, common interests, and common beliefs.

5. What are some of your hobbies?

Writing, drawing, and overall making images in my head come to life!

6. Why did you start blogging?

It sounded fun!

7. How has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted on you and your family?

A billion little ways, but something noticeable is that we’ve become closer, I think, because we’ve spent so much time with JUST us. Me personally…I can’t tell a whole lot, because I’ve also just aged a lot during the pandemic, and I’m not really sure how to distinguish between my personality developing and Covid…ness…

8. What trait do you wish you had?

Hmmmmm…kiiiiinda wish I were more photogenic? Not sure of anything else.

9. What’s your favorite quote?

I’m rather a fan of the quote, “Truth is singular. Lies are words and words.” Said by Madam Vastra from Doctor Who, but I also LOVE this Mark Twain quote my sister showed me the other day: “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” (Hope I’m quoting that correctly)

My Questions

  1. What is the most beautiful thing you have every seen?
  2. Do you have fireflies where you live?
  3. What is your favorite color combo?
  4. What is your LEAST favorite color combo?
  5. What is your favorite thing to do outside?
  6. Do you like to wear socks?
  7. If you had to go back and relive one event of the day you’re currently experiencing, which would it be, and why?
  8. Have you ever gone on a trip outside of your country?
  9. What book have you read the most?

My Nominees

(Beforehand, I apologize to Selina, because she specified the number of nominees and I’m failing to meet that number…but I don’t know a lot of people who haven’t already been tagged, AND I’m planning on doing another tag soon, and I don’t want to run out before then)

  1. You have no idea how happy that rant about time traveling made me. FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE UNDERSTANDS WHY CHANGING SOMETHING IN THE PAST WOULDN’T WORK!!!! Me and my sister argue about that all the time.

  2. Okay, I really hope this isn’t too much to say, but I just think it’s awesome that your sisters name is Harriet. Beatrice and Harriet??? Your parents made beautiful choices. Those names just sound like they’re from a beautiful, quaint novel that takes place in a cottage. And I mean that in a good way!!
